Pate Morte - Dead Dough

This week we made Pate Morte, this is a "dead dough", used to create decorative showpieces rather than to eat. There is no yeast, although it will still rise a bit if the baker adds sugar or salt it will kill aniy rise. We were to make a plaque with roses and wheat, again I took the wiley path and made my own design, Fleur de lis on a plaque.
